Wedding - Mint Green and Ivory Heart Theme - 30th June 2012

Venue: Letchworth Hall Hotel - Della & Lee Wedding
We were delighted to be apart of Della and Lee's wedding at the Letchworth Hall Hotel.  We decorated the ceremony room with 2 topiary columns, finished with lights to give that extra sparkle.  We also decorated the guest tables for the wedding breakfast with double bubble bouquets and a single elegant decobubble centre piece for the bridal table.  On the ceiling we created a ceiling of love hearts - ivory heart balloons which sit on the ceiling for a couple of hours and then slowly float down.  To finish off, we supplied a candy table, taking everyone back to their favourite childhood sweets, all finished with the same colour schemes.

School Prom - St Edmunds College - 27th June 2012

Every year, we are lucky enough to be asked to decorate the school prom for St Edmunds College in Ware.  This year they held it at Blakes Golf & Country Club in Epping.  Jumbo Letters spells out the name of the class "Poetry" and the jumbo numbers for the year makes this personalised and special.

Princess Party - 3rd June 2012

Today we able to be a bit creative and decorate a princess themed party!  We had great fun creating this!

Purple Butterfly - Wedding - Holiday Inn Stevenage - 12th May 2012

Today, we had the pleasure of decorating a lovely wedding at the Holiday Inn Stevenage.  The colour scheme was purple and butterflies.  We created 2 lovely floating bubbles, capturing the colours and the butterfly theme, to greet the happy couple as they walked down the aisle.  These were finished with soft organza and lights.  These were later moved to either side of the top table a bit later on in the day. Simple table centre pieces with the same colour scheme and butterfly theme were used.

School Prom - University of Hatfield - 11th May 2012

We have a lot of fun !

In our job we get to work with some of the best balloon design and trainers across the industry.  We attended a course run by Sue Bowler, Keith Stirman and Dominc Cassidy, which was so much fun!  A mix of making balloon cars and animals.. with a mix like that we were destined to have a fun day of learning!

Christenings - April 2012

Today we did some lovely balloons for a christening for a little boy.  The colour scheme was pale lemon and pastel pearl blue and we used some of our shaped baby balloons in the design.

Balloons for Bert !!

We love personalising parties with people's names to make them feel special.  This party was for a football lover aged 30... who has a nickname of Bert!

Isabel Hospice Midnight Swim - Hatfield Pool and Haileybury College

17th March 2012

Phew, what a day.. and what fun we had today.  Isabel Hospice are one of the charities that we support by supplying balloon decor for some of their major fundraising events.

Today they were holding a sponsored midnight swim at 2 swimming pools with a theme of Sun and Surf.

Balloons go POP? I hear you ask?  When is it ok for balloons to go POP?  When they are exploding balloons of course! 

If you want something a bit special at your event, whether it is at your first dance of your wedding, the beginning of your party, or the opening or special part of your event - an Exploding Balloon will give you the effect that will fit the bill perfectly!

We have decorated many events with Exploding Balloons and they never cease to amaze people or surprise them!  How do we do it?  We don't use pins on the end of poles ... what's the point in that?  Don't you want it to be a surprise??  Seeing someone prod at the balloon is hardly spontanious is it?  We do our exploding balloons with a remote unit, just like one you would use to unlock your car.  The remote unit is powered by a battery and sits within your display - simply give the key remote to a DJ or trusted person to press at that special moment and BANG! away you go... hundreds of tiny balloons with confetti will shower down over you and your guests!  The tiny balloons will go down a treat if you have little ones at your party, it will keep them busy for hours as you enjoy your party.

Here are just a few samples of exploding balloons that we have put together.  They can be part of your decor by using a diamond clear 3ft balloon so people can see the tiny balloons - or you can use a dark colour so that people will not know there are balloons inside - the latter will give you more of a surprise!

We are not normally at the events when the balloons go off, but on this occasion we were there ! We still didn't catch it too well - but it does give a bit of an idea.  This ballooon didnt have confetti - just loads of little balloons.
